TENDER & RFP TECHNICAL ANSWER SPECIALIST

 

Quotient is recruiting for a Tender & RFP Specialist to join the Sales Operations and Customer Services Team based in Eysins. The role is a full-time and permanent position.

For each tender a team is created. The team is composed of various Subject Matter Experts (SME) which includes Sales, Technical Service, Marketing, etc… Together they prepare the answers to the RFP & Tenders and ensure that the answers are written in a way that reflects the strategic direction given by the sales team while following the company’s internal policies and local laws. They also ensure the submission is done in a timely manner

The Tender and RFP Technical Answer Specialist will be in charge of writing the answer to the technical questions about our technology. She (He) can count on the knowledge of the Subject Matter Expert (R&D, Technical Service,…) to help her (him) in her (his) work.

 

 

JOB DESCRIPTION
The main responsibilities will include:

Answer Tenders:

  • Review the tender document and (together with Sales & the Tender and Submission Specialist) organize the split of question by topics.
  • Prepare answers to tender questions thanks to the Quotient Q&A data base, while ensuring compliance with the company’s internal policies, local laws and making sure that the answer reflects the selling strategy defined by sales. For questions that could not be answered leveraging the Q&A data base, follow-up with Subject Matter Experts to collect the necessary information/evidence, to build the answers.
  • Together with the Tender and Submission Specialist:
    • Assemble tender answers in defined templates and documents by the Tenderer.
    • Review the full submission to ensure correctness and a consistency in writing of the tender.
    • Manage timelines and respect submission deadlines.

Manage the Reference Library data base:

  • Manage the Tender Document and Q&A data base and ensure its technical correctness by regular reviews and updates in collaboration with Subject Matter Experts (SME).

 

General activities:

  • Work with the Tender Submission Specialist on the tender submission process and make suggestions on how to improve the quality in Tender applications.
  • Be the backup of the Tender Submission Specialist regarding the tender submission process and contract management.
  • Collect feedback from already awarded tender in order to learn where Quotient shall improve its value proposition, or the way to answer.
  • Maintain field & Technical knowledge by working with field force.
  • Perform any other duties as reasonably requested from the Company from time to time.
  • Conduct all duties in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), Good Documentation Practice (GDP) and appropriate regulatory requirements and laws.  

 

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Sciences or equivalent;
  • 2 years of experience as an application specialist in the IVD industry, (Immunohematology and serology is a plus), or worked as a laboratory supervisor or lab technician in Immunohematology and disease screening in a blood bank environment or donor center;
  • Project Management;
  • Strong analytical skills;
  • Ability to generate analytics and dashboards on process status;
  • Experience in/knowledge of (Microsoft) Office applications;
  • Detail oriented and organized and a flexible team-player;
  • Leadership skills to drive tender submission and project forward;
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact and win over in a professional manner;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Demonstrated experience in influencing, and motivating people from diverse backgrounds;
  • Fluent in English, proficiency in any other European language is a plus;
  • Ability to travel up to 20%.
