SENIOR BIOPROCESS SCIENTIST
Quotient is recruiting for a Senior Bioprocess Scientist to join the Manufacturing, Sciences & Technology Team (MSAT). The role is a full-time, permanent position, based in Eysins, Switzerland.
JOB PURPOSE
As Senior Bioprocess Scientist, you will act as the primary interface between the Quotient MosaiQTM development and process design teams, MosaiQTM system and manufacturing and maintenance teams.
You will develop a clear understanding of the MosaiQTM antigens, proteins & antibodies vials manufacturing and to be able to advise on all critical to quality aspects of the products. Finally, you will provide expertise on biological process transfer, process characterization, manufacturing implementation and investigations in close collaboration with R&D, Manufacturing and Quality departments.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Review of Development protocol and report;
• Review and lead the technical transfer of processes and procedures in your scope
• Create, update and review all documentation needed for the implementation of manufacturing processes and equipment within GMP environment.
• Provide manufacturing requirements during technical transfer of processes and procedures
• Propose and manage process improvements and studies for In Process Controls and Characterization studies
• Own or support the production team for investigation and troubleshooting
• Manage Non-Conformances, CAPA and Change Controls in your process area
• Train production technicians and peers
• Act as a “mentor” for junior bioprocess scientist
• Monitor process parameters and Quality Control (QC) data, and draw Key Performance Indicators (KPI)
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
• Master Degree in Life Sciences (i.e. Biochemistry, Biology)
• 3-5 years of experience in a similar role within a GMP production environment, in a classified ISO8/7 clean room and medical device or pharmaceutical environment.
• Strong knowledge of buffer exchange process, animation, conjugation, and formulation & fill
• Knowledge in Chromatography /TFF technics is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and work in a team.
• Experience of reporting against deadlines
• Proactive attitude and collaborative work with strong willingness to assist across departments.
• Fluent in English, French is a plus
