Quotient is recruiting for a Department Leader, European Sales to join the Sales & Education Team based in Eysins. The role is a full-time and permanent position.


The role will plan, implement, and lead a customer-centric process for customer acquisition and customer management for MosaiQ™ in Europe.



The main responsibilities will include:

  • Effectively manage a high performance MosaiQ™ sales team for blood banks, donor centers and other blood establishments in Europe.
  • Maintain and refine the appropriate level of structure and control to the sales organization to create a suitable platform.
  • Define, develop, lead, and deliver the MosaiQ™ sales strategy with a strong focus on strategic account development and solution selling.
  • Management of the MosaiQ™ sales organization to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
  • Implement appropriate sales processes including forecasting and periodic business - and account plan reviews.
  • Evaluate markets and drive distributor sales where strategically appropriate and agreed.
  • Implement and manage customer training and knowledge transfer to customers to ensure highest customer satisfaction and strong customer retention rates.
  • Manage Education program keeping all materials up to date and introducing new materials as needed for external and internal benefit.




  • Relevant education Graduate/Post Graduate in Biology, Chemistry, Lab Medicine sciences preferred or other related disciplines.
  • A minimum of 10 years’ experience in sales in Immunohematology/Blood transfusion diagnostics.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Global/Strategic Account Manager.
  • 5+ years leading/managing teams.
  • Considerable experience of developing, implementing and supporting comprehensive international sales strategies.
  • A proven track record of profitable revenue and market share growth.
  • Strong ability to develop business cases and communicate succinctly to a broad group of leaders.
  • Solid understanding of CRM systems, quote to cash management infrastructures and analytics around sales pipeline modeling.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact and win over customers in a professional manner.
  • Demonstrated experience in influencing, developing and motivating people from diverse backgrounds; able to lead cross-functional global business teams.
  • Demonstrated people leadership skills; developing direct reports and others to sustain and succeed in professional growth.
  • Strong communication skills; sense of urgency; adaptive to change; strategic and tactical.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Ability to travel globally up to 50%.
